$110

Sitting Fee

Studio session are $75 per hour, on location sessions are $110. This is the sitting fee.

There is a $35 per half hour location fee for any location other than the studio.

From July 2023 - October 2023 we will only be offering on location or in home sessions while we get the new studio ready to go!

This fee is due during the booking process.

It covers our editing times, props, equipment and the session itself.

Once your session is complete, you will receive a link to your watermarked images within 10 days of your session.

We will then make an appointment for you to return to the studio to review your images and place your order!

You can choose to purchase as few or as many of these images as you’d like!

The sitting fee only covers the session itself, it does not include any digitals, prints, or products.

Studio Sessions

In a studio session, I’ll be using studio lighting and your choice of backdrops to photograph you against. I’ll have complete control over both of these factors and will be able to achieve a consistent result in every shoot.

I’ll have all of the equipment I need, and also have toilets and changing facilities on site for you to use too.

If you are looking to book a newborn session, or smash of some sort (cake smash, watermelon smash, etc.) I only offer these in studio.

Perfect for families up to 6, or 8 with small children, head shots, birthdays, newborn, maternity, senior and anything else you can think of.

On Location Sessions

If you book an on-location photo shoot you will have more choice over the ‘backdrop’ in your photographs.

I will use natural light, reflectors and/or flash depending on location.

Depending on where you choose for your shoot you may not have toilets or changing facilities to hand – if you opt for a photo shoot at home then all of these things will of course be close by!

Location shoots will typically take longer than a studio shoot as there is usually more of a storytelling element to them – you’ll often move around to different rooms of your house, or different parts of the outdoor location you’ve chosen.

I would suggest booking an hour and a half slot to allow this.

I am willing to travel!

There is an additional travel fee for any location outside of Canon City.

FAQ

Do you deliver every image you shoot?

No, we do not. We eliminate duplicate images, test shots, missed focused shots, shots with bad expressions and other images that may dilute the overall product delivery. For example, because we shoot with low apertures, sometimes we take a few extra shots to make sure we have the perfect focus. We don’t expect you to have the expertise or the time to zoom into each image to select the one with the sharpest focus, so we spend hours doing that on our end. In another example, candid laughs and emotional tears are some of the best images from the day. Unfortunately, they can also yield some unflattering facial expressions. We might snap a few extras of any of these moments to make sure we have a great shot with the ideal expression for the moment. With our expertise of processing millions of images each year, we may eliminate ones that we feel are duplicates and only deliver the best one.

Do you shoot Quinceaneras, Debutants, Bar/Bat Mitzvahs, weddings or Corporate Events?

Yes. These are all considered ‘event photography.’ We have chosen to focus and excel at newborn and family photography, but would love to cover any and all of your celebration.

What happens if we go over the contracted amount of time?

We understand that not everything goes as planned. We never pack up before the contracted time, and moreover, we’re not leaving on the dot when the contracted time is up. Instead, we will ask you at the end of your contracted time whether or not you would like to extend. If you would like us to stay, we will charge the $75 per hour rate rounded to the closest 30-minute increment.

Do you touch up all the images in our image download?

Yes we do. Every image we deliver is post produced with our unique signature style of post-production. This involves color correction, exposure adjustment, selective black and white processing, clarity adjustments, tone-mapping, and other corrections.

What is the difference between advanced and custom retouching; and why are there additional costs for a custom retouch?

Advanced post-production includes touch-ups such as removal of blemishes, removal of bags under eyes, removal of fly-away hairs, etc. On the other hand, custom post production is anything that requires extensive, custom work in Photoshop such as removing entire objects from the scene, changing the size and shape of body parts or other objects in the scene, adding objects to a scene and other custom work. We charge hourly for the custom post-production as the time required ranges depending on the complexity of the project. Please contact me for a quote for custom post-production.

What rights do I have to the digital prints?

After purchasing your digital images, you have the right to reprint images whenever you want. However, you may not sell your images for profit or publish your images without the written consent of Anna Belle Z. Photography.
